PURPOSE: To provide a simpler register device for a similar printing form. CONSTITUTION: For the register of a sleeve-shaped offset printing form in which the beginning and end of the plate-shaped metal piece 1 of the printing form are connected by a weld seam 2, a guide element formed in the form of a projection 3 is designed at the inside of the sleeve 1. A form cylinder 4 fitted in combination with the sleeve has a groove 5 extending along its entire width. The groove 5 has a depth that is greater than the height of the projection 3. The projection 3 can be completely inserted into the groove 5 so that the sleeve 1 can be securd on the form cylinder 4 in the circumferential direction.
