PURPOSE:To warn a user of malfunctioning of the cooling system before it actually occurs and make the user check, for example, the condition surrounding the refrigerator in order to prevent food from rotting by indicating abnormality when the temperature detected by a discharge-pipe-temperature detector of the compressor continues to be above a prescribed value over a prescribed period of time. CONSTITUTION:To the input of a microcomputer 20 in a controller 19 of a refrigerator a temperature detector 3 and a discharge-pipe- temperature detector 8 are connected; to the output of the microcomputer 20 a driving means 5 for actuating the compressor 4, a driving means 7 for actuating a compressor-cooling fan 6, and a controlling means 22 for operating an abnormality indicator 21 are connected. |
