<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity storage device capable of performing a stable drive at low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The electricity storage device is provided with a battery cell 33, a battery holder 1 as well as an end plate 40 for constraining the battery cell 33 so as to pinch it, and an intercalating member 11 arranged between the end plate 40 and the battery cell 33. The battery holder 1 and the end plate 40 are formed of resin. The battery holder 1 and the end plate 40 have a positive thermal expansion coefficient at a temperature lower than a given one.
