FUEL CELL OFFGAS TREATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell offgas treating device of a simple configuration capable of reducing the maximum density of hydrogen in the offgas to be discharged to the atmosphere.

SOLUTION: The diluting container 25 is partitioned into a first chamber 26 into which the cathode off-gas is fed and a second chamber 27 into which the anode off-gas is fed by a partitioning plate 28. A clearance 29 to communicate the first and second chambers 26 and 27 is provided at the end of the partitioning plate 28. The first chamber 26 is equipped with an exhaust port 32 and a cathode off-gas inlet port 30. The second chamber 27 is equipped with an anode off-gas inlet port 31. The anode off-gas inlet port 31 and the cathode off-gas inlet port 30 are disposed so that the anode off-gas feeding direction is equal to the cathode off-gas feeding direction. The partition plate 28 is tilted opposite to the anode off-gas inlet port 31 and the clearance 29 is formed at furthest end of the partitioning plate 28 away from the anode off-gas inlet port 31.
