ULTRAVIOLET SHIELDING MATERIAL CONSISTING OF ZINC OXIDE-CONTAINING SPHERICAL SILICA AND COSMETIC MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain an ultraviolet shielding material having high ultraviolet shielding performance, excellent smoothness and fluidity and being superior in transparency, in the case that it is compounded in cosmetic, etc. CONSTITUTION: The silica is spherical silica in which zinc oxide particles are dispersed into a silica matrix and the paste having 30μm thickness in which three pts.wt. of the spherical silica are dispersed in seven pts.wt. of liquid paraffin, has <=20% spectral transmission at 320nm wavelength and >=40% spectral transmission at 400nm wavelength.
