PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost data multiplexing device which has low power consumption and a high degree of freedom of CPU selection. SOLUTION: The data multiplexing device 22 comprises a control arithmetic process bus 18 which detects attached information of inputted compressed data and determines the order of multiplexing of video compressed data and sound compressed data according to the attached information and a data processing bus 17 which transfers the respective inputted data to a memory 11 sequentially and distributes them from the memory 11 to a data processing bus 17 in the order of the multiplexing from the control arithmetic processing bus 18, and the efficiency of a CPU processing part 14 is improved.
