PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of overshoot and hunting while enabling the stabilized operation of a valve element, and to simplify the assembling structure of a thermostat device. SOLUTION: In this thermostat device 1, reciprocation of a thermo-element 52 and opening and closing of a valve element 21 are interlocked with each other, and flow control of the circulating fluid is performed by opening and closing the valve element 21. Each element forming a valve assembly 2 is previously assembled for integrally forming, and the valve assembly 2, an energizing member 9 and an element assembly 5 are assembled in an upper case 7. Furthermore, a lower case 8 is fitted to the upper case 7 for fixation.
