PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lock device in which a leaf spring for preventing looseness need not be fixed previously to a handle shaft while the handle shaft is inserted by small force and can be attached to a door. SOLUTION: A recessed groove 16 for mounting a leaf spring is formed in a handle shaft 9, and the leaf spring 17 installed at the recessed groove 16 for mounting the leaf spring is deflected and deformed, and pushed against the square hole 8 of a rotor 5 for a lock 3, the square hole 18 of one lever handle 10 and the square hole 20 of the other lever handle 11 respectively, thus preventing looseness. Deflection spaces are formed among both end faces 17a of the leaf spring 17 and both end faces 16a of the recessed groove 16 for mounting the leaf spring when the leaf spring 17 is brought to a free state, the handle shaft 9 can be inserted by small force by smooth deflection deformation by the leaf spring 17, and the leaf spring 17 may not be fixed previously onto the handle shaft 9 because both end faces 17a of the leaf spring 17 are abutted against both end faces 16a of the recessed groove 16 for mounting the leaf spring under the state, in which the leaf spring 17 is deflected and deformed, and the leaf spring 17 is fixed.
