<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel histamine-release inhibitors or leukotriene-release inhibitors; and drugs, foods, drinks or cosmetics comprising the same. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed are new histamine-release inhibitors or leukotriene-release inhibitors comprising naringenin chalcon or a salt thereof as an active ingredient, and drugs, foods, drinks or cosmetics comprising the inhibitors. The histamine-release inhibitors or leukotriene-release inhibitors are effective as various antiallergic disorder preventative and therapeutic drugs, and anti-inflammatory medications. Further, since the histamine-release inhibitors or the leukotriene-release inhibitors inhibit release of histamine from mast cells in I type allergic reaction, they are effective especially for preventing and treating atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, pollinosis, or allergic asthma resulting from the release of histamine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
