An equipment control arrangement has a central control (SPS) which drives a number of consumer loads individually. The operator elements are designed as surface zones of a touch-sensitive film (1) which outputs a signal which is representative for the point at which contact is made with the touch-sensitive film (1). A decoding logic unit (3) stores the boundaries of the surface zones and to which the output signal of the touch-sensitive film (1) is supplied and provides an output signal in which the address of the associated consumer load is contained. A bus-circuit (7) prepares the decoding logic output signal for further processing by the central control (SPS) via the field-bus (8)
