PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a locking function capable of preventing disconnection due to carelessness, securing the shut-off state of power when it is pulled out, and having no adverse effects on electric/electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The connector with a locking function of the present invention uses a pin jack 1 and a pin plug 2 for connection. The connector comprises: a recess 14 for a vane formed at an opening of a jack-side insertion hole 12 of the pin jack 1; a groove 15 for sliding linked to the recess 14 and formed at an inner surface of the jack-side insertion hole 12; and a jack-side external terminal 16 projecting to the groove 15 and having a base end projecting from a pin jack body 11. The connector further comprises a vane 25 provided to project near a tip of a plug-side external terminal 24 of the pin plug 2 so as to be inserted to the recess 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
