摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To isolate and identify a gene encoding a new leukotriene B<SB>4</SB>receptor having an ultrahigh possibility as a drug development target molecule, and to provide a recombinant protein required to search for a substance modifying the activity thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The gene encoding the new leukotriene B<SB>4</SB>receptor is isolated and the full-length ORF (open reading frame) sequence is determined to express the leukotriene B<SB>4</SB>receptor. Furthermore, the leukotriene B<SB>4</SB>receptor, the gene of the leukotriene B<SB>4</SB>receptor, a vector comprising the gene, a host cell comprising the vector and a method for producing the leukotriene B<SB>4</SB>receptor using the host cell are provided.
