<p>There is provided a motor drive device for driving a vibrating motor having a sensorless brushless motor. It is possible to improve response upon start of the vibrating motor. Electricity supply to a coil upon motor start is performed by successively changing six stages having an electric communication pattern different by 60 degrees. When a rotor portion position is detected within a preset time at a certain stage, the operation proceeds to the next stage. When the rotor portion position is not detected within the preset time, the operation also proceeds to the next stage.</p>
