Arrangement for tempering an electronic unit using a latent heat reservoir and a trigger to release stored heat

The arrangement has a latent heat reservoir (6) of metastable phase change material which is thermally coupled to the electronic unit (1). The reservoir is thermally coupled to another electronic unit to support its reheating. A controllable trigger (8) is provided. When the electronic unit (1) is switched on, the trigger initiates a change in the aggregate state of the cooled phase change material to output stored heat.
