<p>The present invention aims to provide an information reproducing/recording device capable of enhancing the reliability of a focus jump. In the information reproducing/recording device in which the laser light emitted from a laser light source of an optical pickup is collected by an objective lens, irradiated on a multi-layered optical recording medium, and reflected by the multi-layered optical recording medium so as to be received by a light detector to be converted to an electrical signal, so that a focusing error signal and a tracking error signal are detected by the electrical signal in a signal processing circuit and focusing servo and tracking servo are executed based on the respective signal to reproduce or record information, the power of the laser light emitted from the laser light source is raised (S3) with the focusing and tracking servo turned OFF when reproduction of information and the like with respect to one of the recording layers of the multi-layered optical recording medium is finished to execute focus jump while optimally maintaining the amplitude of the focusing error signal.</p> |
