PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely turn a valve handle by adjusting the angle between an operation rod and a grip rod even in the case where an obstacle member such as a pillar exists in the periphery of the valve handle to be operated. SOLUTION: The tool for operating a valve handle comprises: the operation rod 2; a pair of fixed legs 3 and 4 nearly crossing the axis of the operation rod 2; the grip rod 5 connected to the base end of the operation rod 2 freely to change the angle against the axis of the operation rod 2; and a fixing mechanism 6 for fixing the operation rod 2 and the grip rod 5 at a predetermined angle. Desirably, the fixing mechanism 6 fixes the operation rod 2 and the grip rod 5 for every predetermined angle or at an arbitrary angle.
