PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide metallic fittings for a bar for merchandise display, which are excellent in mechanical strength and hardly deformed even when a large load is imposed. SOLUTION: The metallic fittings 4 for reception, which is manufactured by bending a steel plate simultaneously with punching the steel plate by press working, includes: a substantially triangular plate-like swelling part 5 where hooks 7a-3c to be engaged with a supporter 1 are formed at the rear edge by punching; and an insertion part 6 which is formed at the swelling edge 9 of the swelling part by bending to have a perpendicular plane, so as to be inserted into the opening end of the bar 2 for merchandise display. The insertion part is, furthermore, perpendicularly bent inward in the upper side edge 10 and the lower side edge 11 respectively, so as to have a U shape cross section. The widths of the upper side edge 10 and the lower side edge 11 are set, so as to allow the upper side edge and the lower side edge to reach the upper surface 9a and the lower surface 9b of the swelling edge in the swelling part.
