A method for controlling a mix mode of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to improve the convenience of a user and the product satisfaction by controlling a position of a cam through setting a plurality of mix modes. A method for controlling a mix mode of an air conditioner for a vehicle comprises the steps of setting a plurality of mix modes according to temperature difference generated by a flow distribution rate of a defrost door and a floor door(S110), and setting a position of a cam for adjusting the flow distribution rate of the defrost door and the floor door such that the temperature difference is generated according to the mix modes(S120). If one of the mix modes is selected, an actuator is driven so that the cam rotates in a setting position of a corresponding mix mode(S130).
