<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the arrangement of knowledge assets suitable for research purposes. <P>SOLUTION: The knowledge asset management system comprises a server 30a connected through a network 20 and one or more clients 10a<SB>1</SB>-10a<SB>n</SB>. Each of the clients 10a<SB>1</SB>-10a<SB>n</SB>is configured to collect operation history input to itself and to estimate and output research purposes and load required for them based on the collected operation history. The server 30a inputs the research purposes and the load required for them from at least one of the clients 10a<SB>1</SB>-10a<SB>n</SB>, classifies the research purposes based on the similarity, generates a research purpose set with the research purposes similar to each other as elements, estimates the demand for every research purpose set while totaling load required for them, and determines and outputs suitable holding locations or holding forms of the knowledge assets used for the research purposes based on the estimated demand and totaled load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
