PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce user's burden when printing a taken image of a subject in an actual size, and to shorten a period of time up to printing.

SOLUTION: The image processing method includes: a first step of photographing a reference object representing reference length with a subject; a second step of extracting the reference object included in the image on the basis of image data representing the image taken in the first step; and a third step of performing expansion or reduction processing of the image such that the reference length represented by the reference object extracted in the second step coincides with actual length associated with the reference length.
