IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM, HOST COMPUTER, AND IMAGE FORMING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of the same error by controlling to change a format of print data in a predetermined case when printing by analyzing and recording errors.

SOLUTION: A printer 10 comprises an output part 106 performing print processing based on received print data, and an error control part 108 transmitting error information generated by an error information preparing part 109 according to the occurrence of an error. A host personal computer 20 comprises a printer driver 203 converting a generated plotting command into a predetermined format to generate print data; a means for transmitting the print data to the printer 10; an error information analyzing part 208 extracting the plotting command based on the received error information; and an error database 211 storing the extracted plotting command information. The printer driver 203 converts the plotting command part into the other format to generate print data when plotting command information of the same format as the generated plotting command is stored in the error database 211.
