The invention relates to a device and to a method for edge folding of a protruding decorative layer on an edge of a work piece, wherein the work piece is held in a holder and the protruding decorative layer is folded over by means of at least one edge folding die and applied to a rear side of the edge of the work piece. According to the invention, the work piece is formed from at least two components, the components are arranged in the holder, and the components are riveted to the work piece by means of a riveting device having at least one heatable riveting die while the work piece is received in the holder. |
