PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-acting type extrusion press device for reducing the installation area, by shortening the machine total length, by miniaturizing a main cross head and a piercer cross head, and by providing rotary means of a mandrel in an opening hole part of the main cross head.SOLUTION: The double-acting type extrusion press device comprises the rotary means of the mandrel and positioning means for regulating an advance limit position of the mandrel, by axially arranging the piercer cross head having the mandrel for slidably arranging a central part of an extrusion stem in the main cross head having the extrusion stem on the tip, coaxially providing a piercer cylinder with a main ram inside the main ram connected to the main cross head, and longitudinally slidably connecting a piston and the piercer cross head inside the piercer cylinder so that a piston rod fixed to the piston is linearly positioned. The rotary means of the mandrel is provided in an opening hole tip part for sliding the piercer cross head of the main cross head. |
