PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device which inhibits an ink from smudging an inner part of the ink jet recording device even if the ink is leaked from a syringe pump.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device includes: a recording head; an ink tank; a sub ink tank 72; an electromagnetic valve; and a syringe pump 8. The recording head discharges an ink onto a recording medium. The ink tank stores the ink. The sub ink tank 72 temporarily stores the ink supplied from the ink tank. The electromagnetic valve is disposed between the ink tank and the sub ink tank 72 and closes or releases flow of the ink from the ink tank to the sub ink tank 72. The syringe pump 8 supplies the ink in the sub ink tank 72 to the recording head. The syringe pump 8 is disposed in the sub ink tank 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
