PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat transfer fluid for use in refrigeration, heat transfer, heat pump, and air conditioning systems.SOLUTION: A heat transfer composition comprises a trans-isomer of 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234ze) and a polyol ester (POE) lubricating oil, and has a Hazen color equal to or less than 500 when tested according to ASHRAE 97-2007. In a heat transfer composition, the POE oil is obtained by reacting a linear/branched carboxylic acid with a polyol selected from among neopentyl glycol, trimethylol propane, pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, and mixtures thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
