PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manufacturing method of a bearing cap which can make a cap main body being a molded product easily remain at a side of a fixed mold which is arranged outside an axial direction when releasing a molding space in a process for manufacturing the bottomed cylindrical cap main body having an insertion hole which is opened only on an inside face side in the axial direction in one portion of a resin bottom plate part by axial load molding.SOLUTION: A thickness-reduced part 45 which is opened only on an outside face side in an axial direction of a thick-walled part 42b is arranged at a portion adjacent to an insertion hole 15b in the thick-walled part 42b which is arranged at a resin bottom plate part 12b of a cap main body 9b. A thickness-reduced part molding part 55 for molding the thickness-reduced part 45 is arranged at one portion of a fixed mold 52 constituting a metal mold device 51 which is used for axial-draw molding the cap main body 9b.
