PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collection method and device for coke dry quenching equipment which can stably collect a large amount of dust generated when red-hot coke is charged.SOLUTION: A dust collection method for coke dry quenching equipment collects dust, generated when red-hot coke is charged, together with exhaust gas in the coke dry quenching equipment for quenching the red-hot coke. When the red-hot coke is charged, water mist is sprayed into a dust collection duct receiving introduction of exhaust gas containing the dust to adjust the temperature of the exhaust gas to be lower than the self-ignition temperature of combustible gas contained in the exhaust gas, and when the red-hot coke is not charged, washing water is injected from a washing nozzle to wash and remove deposited dust in the dust collection duct with the water.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
