PURPOSE:To provide conjugated fiber for improving the coloring property of the synthetic fiber, especially the polyester fiber, and for imparting the same and sufficient coloring property in comparison with natural fibers to the fiber. CONSTITUTION:This sheath-core conjugated fiber for a multi-grooved fiber comprises a conjugated fiber comprising a core 2 and a sheath 1, the >=1.0mum long projections 3 of the sheath being disposed from the at least three positions of the outer circumference of the core 2 toward the inner part of the core 2, and the component of the sheath having a dissolution rate larger three times or more that of the component of the core. When the sheath component is dissolved and removed from the sheath-core fiber, many grooves are produced on the surface of the produced multi-grooved fiber, and simultaneously, the outer circumferential surface of the multi-grooved fiber is roughened to extremely improve the coloring property and express a good dry touch. |
