PURPOSE:To provide a soft twill woven fabric, rich in heat insulating, moisture absorbing and releasing properties and suitable as denims without felting in washing by using modified wool yarn subjected to chlorinating treatment or chlorinated resin finishing treatment in at least either of warp and weft yarns. CONSTITUTION:Cotton yarn is used as warp yarn and modified wool yarn subjected to chlorinating treatment or chlorinated resin finishing treatment is used as weft yarn to construct a 2/1 or a 3/1 twill woven fabric. Thereby, characteristics of wool are imparted and the objective twill fabric without felting in washing in spite of the wool used is obtained. The kind of the weft and warp yarn is reversed to use more modified wool yarns and impart the more characteristics of the wool to the resultant twill woven fabric. This twill woven fabric having the characteristics of the wool wholly imparted thereto is obtained by using the modified wool yarn as the warp yarn and yarn containing the modified wool yarn as the weft yarn. |
