PURPOSE:To make it easy to separate a core from a foaming body and to prevent the core and the foaming body from peeling from each other by providing a partition plate below the core, in a head rest so designed that an insert member comprising the core and a stay is wrapped by the foaming body. CONSTITUTION:In a head rest so designed that an insert member comprising a core 2 and a stay 3 is wrapped by a foaming body 1, a partition plate 4 is provided below the core 2. The end portion of the partition plate 4 is set in a position separate by 2 to 10mm from the surface of the foaming body 1. Alternatively, part of the end portion of the partition plate 4 is exposed to the surface or the foaming body 1 or set to be almost exposed. The insert member and the foaming body can then be easily separated by human fingers without using special jigs and tools or cutters, etc. By employing a method whereby the partition prate us molded independently or the core, the molding die of the core need not be changed and this is advantageous for cost reduction. |
