CONSTITUTION:In a transplanter with which a seedling taken out from the seedling tray (15) of a laterally reciprocating seedling carriage (14) with a seedling-taking tine (16) is transferred to a seedling-planting tine (18) and subsequently planted in a field, a laterally transferring mechanism (35) for laterally reciprocating the seedling carriage (14) is disposed on a right side frame (32b) supporting the seedling carriage (14), and a longitudinally transferring mechanism for transferring the seedling tray (15) in the longitudinal direction is disposed on the left side surface of the seedling carriage (14).
