PURPOSE:To obtain a thrombolytic agent for injection which contains, as an active ingredient, a thrombolytic enzyme produced by Bacillus natto, promptly manifests a strong thrombolytic action by intravascular injection without injury to living body with extremely reduced toxicity, and is useful as a therapeutic agent for thrombosis such as pulmonary embolism or myocardial infarction. CONSTITUTION:This thrombolytic agent contains a thrombolytic enzyme produced by Bacillus natto. For example, the fermented soybean with Bacillus natto or an aqueous extract from the culture mixture of Bacillus natto is purified until a single peak having the thrombolytic activity is obtained by the gel-filtration chromatography in order to avoid contamination other than Natto- Kinase originating from Natto bacillus or its culture mixture. The daily dose of the thrombolytic agent is 100-200mg/adult in intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. |
