<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of preventing degradation of a device at a downstream of the bypass channel due to temperature rise, in one equipped with the bypass channel detouring a cooling unit. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with a fuel cell, an air supply tube introducing air to the fuel cell, a compressor 21 compressing air and supplying the compressed air to the fuel cell through the air supply tube, a cooling unit fitted to the air supply tube for cooling the air flowing in the air supply tube, a bypass tube bypassing an upstream side and a downstream side of the cooling unit out of the air supply tube, and a bypass valve adjusting flow of air flowing in the bypass tube. The fuel cell system is further provided with a failure detecting part 42 detecting that the bypass valve is broken and the air can not pass the cooling unit, and a compressor control part 46 as well as a VCU control part 47 limiting a power generation output of the fuel cell in case failure of the bypass valve is detected by the failure detecting part 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
