SCREED DEVICE FOR ROAD PAVING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly feed a mixture in the pavement width direction without stagnating the mixture in front of the main screed in performing a paving work by a road paving machine. SOLUTION: A main screed 10 formed approximately inverse V shape at a prescribed angleαdeg. from the central part of a screw spreader 4 to the left/ right is provided in an asphalt finisher 1 in the rear part of the screw spreader 4 vertically attached to the center line C of the asphalt finisher 1. First expansion/contraction screeds 12, 12 and second expansion/contraction screeds 13, 13 expandable/contractable are arranged in the rear part of the main screed 10 in the left/right symmetrically in two rows.
