SDH MULTIPLEXING STRUCTURE OF E-2 SIGNAL, CAPABLE OF RECEIVING E-2 SIGNAL WITHOUT AFFECTING EXISTING SDH MULTIPLEXING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: An SDH multiplexing structure of an E-2 signal is provided to use advantages of SDH(Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) by receiving an E-2 signal at the SDH without affecting an SDH multiplexing structure. CONSTITUTION: TUG(Tributary Unit Group)-22, TU(Tributary Unit)-22, VC(Virtual Container)-22, and C(Container)-22 information structure units are added to receive an E-2 signal. High hierarchy information structure units higher than TUG-3 or VC-3 maintain the compatibility with the existing unit. A path is added to the added information structure units to receive the existing TU-11 and TU-12 signals. Another path is added in the TUG-3 and VC-3 to receive newly added information structure. The TUG-22 is formed by simply multiplexing a TU unit. The TU-22 is formed by adding a pointer to the VC-22 signal. The VC-22 is formed by adding POH(Path Over Head) to the C-22 signal. The C-22 signal is formed by mapping the E-2 signal with a container synchronized with a system clock.
