PURPOSE: A method for trading a telephone prepayment approval code slip is provided to minimize the waste of the expense and the resource needed for making a plastic telephone prepayment card by selling the telephone prepayment approval code slip having the same effect as the plastic telephone prepayment card after an approval procedure of a communication company. CONSTITUTION: A host(12) comprises a service controller(14) controlling all operation for proving a gift certificate trading service, a random number generator(13), and a data memory(15) storing various kinds of processing data according to the trading service provision. A database(16) of the host comprises a sales shop information storing part(17) storing the information for the sales shop(30), which is a service subscriber, a random number code information storing part(18) storing the information for an approval code provided to the sales shop, and a trading information storing part(19) storing the trading information of the approval code.
