PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically perform the flaw detection of a short column part provided at a narrow place like the pin part of a crank throw. SOLUTION: In this automatic flaw detector 11 having a moving device attaching to a column part having a material to be inspected to move in the peripheral direction of the column part and a flaw detecting means 12 for inspecting the flaw of the material to be inspected, the flaw detecting means 12 is constituted so as to scan the column part of the part provided under the moving device and covered with the moving device.
