ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE DISPLAY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME CAPABLE OF ELIMINATING PROCESSES FOR FORMING GROOVE AT FRONT SUBSTRATE

PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescence display and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to allow for a transparent encapsulation and front light emission, and reduce manufacturing procedures and costs by eliminating processes for forming groove at a front substrate. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescence display(10) comprises a rear substrate(11); an organic electroluminescence unit(12) formed on the rear substrate, and constituted by a first electrode, an organic layer, and a second electrode which are sequentially deposited; and a front substrate(13) which is coupled with the rear substrate and seals an inner space(16) accommodating the organic electroluminescence unit so as to isolate the organic electroluminescence unit from outside. The front substrate has an inner surface on which a transparent moisture absorbing layer(14) is deposited. The moisture absorbing layer is a porous silica layer.
