摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy electrode of low reaction resistance and high energy density by making a specific electrode structure with the use of a conductive support body having a specific structure, and a nickel-hydrogen storage battery using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen storage alloy electrode is structured of a mixture consisting of a hydrogen storage alloy and a binder with styrene butadiene rubber or its derivative as a main component, and a punching metal plated as a conductive support body. The punching metal has a plate with a thickness of 30 to 45μm excluding plating, with an aperture diameter of 0.8 to 1.2 mm and an aperture rate of 35 to 55%, and a content of the binder is 0.5 to 0.9% in solid weight ratio to hydrogen storage alloy powder. Moreover, either the mixture is formed into a density of 5.5 to 6.5 g/cc, or a remnant volume space of the hydrogen storage alloy electrode is formed into 6 to 21%. Further, such a hydrogen storage alloy electrode is formed in one stroke of press with a linear rolling pressure of 5 to 15 ton/cm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
