<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a film, which is capable of controlling a thickness at a width direction upon producing a film having a wide surface. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin is melted by an extruder and extruded through a dice provided in the extruder to produce a sheet and the extruded thermoplastic resin sheet is recovered by adhering tightly to at least one cooling drum.
