<p>In a wireless communication system, a common control channel (1) is used to transmit a reservation packet from a user terminal to a base station. At the base station, an upstream data channel for the user terminal is allocated in accordance with the reservation packet. A first upstream shared control channel (2b), which accompanies the upstream data channel, is allocated to the user terminal. This accompanying upstream shared control channel is used to transmit a control signal from the mobile station to the base station. According to the condition of the wireless communication, there may be allocated, in advance, a second upstream shared control channel (2a) the user terminal is permitted to occupy only while the user terminal is performing communication.</p> |
