An input device and an electronic device using the same are provided to minimize installation space in a main body and improve the efficiency of assembly by fixing an attachment part, connectively installed downwards from the circumferential rim of a ring-shaped plate spring, to the circumferential rim of the upper side of a base. An input device comprises a base(10), a print substrate(20), an operation member(60), and an operation dial(80). The print substrate, on which a plurality of push button switches and a magnetic field detection element are mounted, is attached to the upper side of the base. The operation member is formed with a ring-shaped plate spring and a pedestal part(65) in a single unit. As an attachment part, connectively installed downwards from the circumferential rim of the ring-shaped plate spring, is fixed to the circumferential rim of the upper side of the base, bosses(67c,67d) are operably pressurized and connected to the push button switches. The operation dial is rotatively assembled on the upper side of the pedestal part. At the lower surface of the operation dial, ring-shaped magnets(75), of which N poles and S poles are alternately arranged, are installed.
