NONCONTACT READER/WRITER, INFORMATION PROVIDING SYSTEM, REDIRECT SERVER, ADDRESS INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD, OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily access a specific server from a mobile phone and acquire information.

SOLUTION: The information providing system comprises a noncontact reader/writer 1 for noncontactly reading and writing data from/to a mobile phone 2 and a redirect server 3 for establishing communication with the mobile phone 2. The noncontact reader/writer 1 is provided with a storage means for storing first address information for accessing the server 3; a detection means for detecting the mobile phone 2; and a writing means for transmitting the first address information with own unique information to the mobile phone 2. The server 3 has a storage meas for storing the unique information of the noncontact reader/writer 1 and second address information for accessing an information providing server 4, providing the information in association with each other. When the mobile phone 2 accesses the server 3, the second address information is acquired and is returned to the mobile phone 2.
