<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document preparation apparatus and the like, which allow to efficiently retrieve an another application program capable of preparing content expected to be incorporated in a document, and to start an application program as a target by simple operation on a working screen. <P>SOLUTION: The document preparation apparatus includes: a program dictionary 15 composed by registering therein data associating at least a character string with program identification information to specify a program; a character string conversion unit 12 for referring to the program dictionary 15 to retrieve program identification information corresponding to a conversion target character string and for outputting hit program identification information; an application control unit 16 for starting a program identified on the basis of the program identification information and for outputting content data prepared by using the program; and a document preparation unit 8 for incorporating, in a document file, content data prepared by using the program identified on the basis of the program identification information corresponding to the conversion target character string, and for performing preparation and edition of a document. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
