A transreflective type color filter substrate, a fabricating method thereof and a liquid crystal display device having the same are provided to simplify the manufacturing process by arranging a reflecting layer to the color filter substrate. A color substrate(300) is formed on substrates(301,401) where a transmittance area, and a reflective area are formed. An insulating layer(303) has a concavo-convex in the reflective region. A reflecting layer(305) is formed on the insulating layer corresponding to the reflective region. A color filter layer(309) includes the red, green, and blue color filters formed on the front side of the substrate. An coating layer(311) is formed on the color filter layer corresponding to the reflective region. |
