<p>A clutch (52) has a latch ring (50) rotating with a spindle (12) and having outer teeth (50a) on its outer peripheral surface, a pivotable pawl (49) having an engagement section (49a) engageable with the outer teeth (50a) of the latch ring (50), a pawl pivot shaft (48) for pivotably holding the pawl (49), a cam surface (46a) for guiding pivoting of the pawl (49), and a friction spring (42) engaging with the pawl pivot shaft (48) and capable of holding the pawl. The friction spring (42) is held on a projection (25a) of a lower cover (25) by frictional force and, when the pawl pivot shaft (48) moves in the direction opposite a seatbelt take-updirection, pivots along the cam surface (46a) in the direction in which the engagement section (49c) engages with the outer teeth (50a) of the latch ring (50).</p> |
