MARKER FOR DETERMINING HAIR DERIVED FROM SEMI-BALD HEAD REGION OF PERSON WITH PROGRESSING BALD-HEAD OR NOT

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for clarifying whether an examinee is a person with progressing bald-head or not, or for clarifying the distribution of bald-head condition such as a bald-head region, a semi-bald-head region and a non-bald-head region.

SOLUTION: A human keratin 15 gene exhibits overexpression at the hair root of the hair derived from the semi-bald-head region of the person with the progressing bald-head. The human keratin 5 gene exhibits overexpression at the hair root of the hair derived from the semi-bald head region and the non-bald head region of the person with the progressing bald-head.
