摘要 The present invention relates to Oryza sativa α-expansin 7 (OsEXPA7) gene derived from Oryza sativa for increasing salt tolerance, and to uses thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to: a method for increasing salt tolerance in plants more than a wild type which includes a step of over-expressing the OsEXPA7 gene by transforming a recombinant vector including the OsEXPA7 gene derived from Oryza sativa into a plant cell; a method for manufacturing a transformed plant having more increased salt tolerance than a wild type which includes a step of over-expressing the OsEXPA7 gene by transforming a recombinant vector including the OsEXPA7 gene derived from Oryza sativa into a plant cell; the transformed plant manufactured by the method, and a seed thereof; and a composition for increasing salt tolerance in plants including a recombinant vector, which includes the OsEXPA7 gene derived from Oryza sativa. According to the present invention, the plant, into which the OsEXPA7 gene derived from Oryza sativa has transformed, has increased salt tolerance more than a wild type, thereby: being effectively used for developing a plant which can strongly grow in reclaimed land and salt damaged area and for increasing productivity of crops; and being usefully utilized for establishing platform for development of crops having environmental stress tolerance.
