The present invention relates to an automatic water supply apparatus for a flowerpot plant. More specifically, the automatic water supply apparatus comprises: a water tank for storing water for water supply to plants planted in a flowerpot; a humidity sensor installed in soil in the flowerpot to sense the amount of moisture in the soil; a display unit connected with the humidity sensor to display the amount of moisture in the soil; a pump connected with the water tank, wherein the pump supplies water into the flowerpot if the amount of moisture sensed by the humidity sensor falls short of a predetermined reference amount; and a controller connected with the humidity sensor, the display unit, and the pump, wherein the controller compares the amount of moisture sensed by the humidity sensor with the predetermined reference amount to control the operation of the pump and display the sensed amount of moisture.
