PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component loading device and an electronic component loading method which have high availability.SOLUTION: An electronic component loading method of the present embodiment in which electronic components in carrier tapes of supply tapes are removed by a loading head from a plurality of tape feeders arranged in a row and loaded on a substrate, and the carrier tapes from which the electronic components are removed are cut by a cutter device comprises: engaging a stationary knife which has a longitudinal width corresponding to a width of the plurality of tape feeders arranged in a row with a movable knife which has a width corresponding to the longitudinal width of the stationary knife and arranged on the opposite side to the stationary knife to cut the carrier tapes; and supplying a lubricant to a sliding surface on which a sliding guide for supporting the movable knife slides. |
